Conferenza calabrese del welfare dello sviluppo

This Meeting is promoted by the Region of Calabria and is aimed at analyzing and debating on the policies and initiatives that integrate social cohesion and local development.

The meeting is addressed to all public and private operators of personal services, vocational training centres, local development agencies, employment services staff and managers, representatives of local authorities, trade unions, professional associations, cooperatives, agencies and services for the implementation of programmes supported by European Union funds, managers of non-profit organizations.

Purpose of the conference is to initiate a systematic comparison on strategies for the construction of a new development welfare system in order to go beyond the approaches of the social assistance and be able to take disadvantaged people out of social assistance systems and lead them towards full employment and social inclusion.

The Conference is also an opportunity to present and share good practices and innovative projects.
