The aim of the annual event is to develop the culture of social responsibility, of being “all responsible for all”, whatever is the role and mission carried out by local community and/or organizations and national and international institutions.

Rexpó is an event built around certain keywords, that mark specific cultural and organizational choices:

• Mediterranean: liquid border between continents, companies, generations, economies, cultures, religions having different shapes but common roots. Challenge of dialogue, peace, cooperation, development;
• Subsidiarity: role of civil society and clarity of the relationship between companies and institutions at local, national and international level;
• Solidarity: synonymous with responsibility, the result of inter-weaving of community links within individual territories, respectful and equal ties between different territories, generations, man and nature;
• Innovation: ability to intuit and courage to experiment new solutions to new and old problems; enlargement of accessibility, inclusiveness, efficiency, effectiveness of methods, processes, technologies, organizational models, training methods and policies.

Rexpó 2008: the structure of the event

In the 2008 edition Rexpó is changing its structure.

Downsizing the exhibition area, it shapes itself more as a container of events and projects:

• place of confrontation and intercultural development;
• showcase of ideas, projects, civil passion, social innovation;
• construction area for strengthening and valorization of networks, people and organizations.
